Pat Van Kerckhove studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music with André De Groote. In addition to piano, he has a second great passion: the bandoneon and Argentine tango.

When his son began violin lessons using the Suzuki method, he first discovered it as a parent. Captivated by the method and its positive teaching philosophy, he began training as a Suzuki teacher with Ruth Miura (Germany, Spain, and Lithuania), Anne-Marie Oberreit (Belgium), and Marzena Jasinska (Estonia and Finland).

He has been a guest at Suzuki summer camps and workshops in Olistvere (Estonia), Virvute, Daugai, and Birstonas (Lithuania), as well as Davos (Switzerland).

Pat Van Kerckhove is a certified Suzuki teacher and a member of the European Suzuki Association.
